Course content
1. Electrical symbols, signs for installation schemes, standards for electrical symbols. 2. Installation wires and cables in buildings. 3. Diagrams. 4. Protection against overload and short circuit. 5. Principles of fire and its use in protecting objects 6. Mechanical systems for buildings, structures and properties of materials used. 7. Building Structures and design. 8. Protection against water and radon. 9. Special products for buildings. 10. Creation of construction drawings and design. 11. Main principles of fire safety, fire resistance of building structures, the behavior of materials in the fire. 12. Effect of mechanical fire safety of buildings, 13. Fire protection of buildings. 14. Testing of fire resistance of building construction and fire protection systems.

Learning outcomes
The goal is to gain basic knowledge of building construction works, building and fire safety engineering in buildings.
Students are able to understand the problems of fire safety in building construction and electrical diagrams of buildings.
